Smoothies-two in one!

Ok guys. It is sooooo hot here. And when its hot you get thirsty. And when you get thirsty you need to drink. And smoothies are the BEST kind of drink.

Today I am bringing you 2 recipes. Both of which are smoothies. One is a strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry smoothie. The other is a Strawberry(see the theme?) and Banana smoothie.

They look cool, smell cool, and taste cool. All the good things in life.

Lets start with the Strawberry, Blueberry, and Raspberry smoothie:

Pour your colourful drink into a nice glass and slurp away. But take and Instagram photo first!

The Strawberry and Banana smoothie:

130g strawberries

Half a banana

Half a cup of juice

A tablespoon of greek yougurt.

Pasta. And moustaches.

Pasta, Pasta, Pasta!

It is hot here. And I have a black school uniform. I totally want to melt when I am in school. It is deathly. Trust me!

I made dinner. The pasta was quite easy. It had tomato sauce, carrots, celery, onion, and courgettes.
I got a bit distracted while making it. I made a moustache for my finger and took a photo. Cause I'm so Hipstah!

Anyway here is the made up recipe.

Ingredients:

For 4

1 onion, diced

3 sticks of celery, sliced

4 carrots, sliced

1 courgette, sliced

1 can of tomatoes - 400g

Some ripped up basil leaves

About 350g of pasta

Method:

Add your onion, celery, and carrots to your pan. Cook them with a dash of oil for about 15 minutes on a medium-low heat. Add the courgette and cook for 4 minutes.

Put your water on to boil. Don't forget the pinch of salt.

Add your tomato sauce to the mixture. Stir for about 5 minutes. Leave it to cook.

When the water boils, cook the pasta.

At the last minute add the basil to the sauce. Mix in the cooked(and drained) pasta.

Serve up and ENJOY!

Yummy

We ate outside.

Cause it is so normal to pose with a moustache on your finger while your cooking.

Apple and Raspberry crumble (GLUTEN FREE)

Put apples and raspberries together and...

BAM you've got apple and raspberry crumble.

We had some friends come to visit us for a few days and we wanted to make them a nice pudding. Two of them are gluten AND dairy free so we had to try and find a suitable pudding.

I took the crumble topping from Chocolate and Zucchini and changed it so it was gluten free. Then I did some simple mixing and there it was. Crumble.

Here is the recipie:

Ingredients:

Crumble Topping:

100 grams gluten free plain white flour

100 grams ground almonds

50 grams muscovado sugar

50 grams caster sugar

80 ml oil (I used sunflower)

Filling:

Raspberries - I have no idea how many. Probably about 150 grams.

Apples - I used about 7 medium sized apples. Make sure you have a good apple to raspberry ratio...

A few glugs of Orange Juice

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

2. Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl.

3. Slowly pour in the oil, mixing with a fork.

4. Put the crumble topping into the fridge while you make the filling.

5. Peel, core and chop your apples. Add them to a mixing bowl.

6. Wash, then add the raspberries to the mixing bowl.

7. Pour the orange juice over the fruit and mix well.

8. Pour the fruit into a bowl. Top with the crumble.

9. Cook the crumble in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.

Sorry about the lack of photos. I didn't think of posting it until we had eaten...
